“Top-notch animal care.”

I highly recommend Roanoke Animal Hospital! I had to find a vet in Roanoke to see my (vaccinated) cats on extremely short notice because they caught a bat and were possibly exposed to rabies. They recommended boosters and they were able to get them in for the shots within hours. They contacted my home vet to get records and, according to my home vet, promptly sent back detailed records for their files. They followed up by text and email to see how they were doing and thank me for bringing them in. Although they were not allowing pet parents in the building at the time, the curbside service works smoothly and the Vet calls while the pets are being examined/treated to go over everything. Every single person I spoke to and met was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

I've taken my dog Cairo here a few times, they're always sweet and patient with him since he's a little shy with new people. Dr. Hart has always been thorough and straight to the point and has never tried to sell me anything unnecessary which I felt our last vet prioritized over his actual care so I am satisfied. They check on him the next day, they ask if I have any questions and overall I feel like they care. If anything needs to be fixed or addressed it is always handled promptly. I haven't had any bad experiences here, It is more expensive than other places but they have amenities other vets dont, a nice office and staff and as someone with anxiety I've always felt comfortable and welcomed here and I've always felt my dog was getting the best care which is the most important to me.

I have been taking my dog, Mookie, to Roanoke Animal Hospital since moving to Roanoke. All of the staff are extremely kind! Mookie is a bit anxious at the vet but he seems to do okay here. Anytime I have had some kind of issue come up, they have been able to fit me in that day or the next to take a look at Mookie. I would definitely recommend them.

Have been taking family pets to RAH for many years, ever since I was a kid. They have treated every one as if it was the only one they were seeing that day. I have never been disappointed. Always kind, caring and willing to go to great lengths to keep them happy and healthy 😊 Today was just to bring my pup Winnie in for a nail appointment. She does not like to get her nails cut, but doesn't seem to mind when the vet techs a RAH cut them. The do a wonderful job keeping her calm and she comes back out with her tail wagging!!

My dog loves RAH. She starts wagging her tail and trying to get out of the car as soon as we pull in to the parking lot. RAH has very kind and knowledgeable staff. They are also very accommodating, my girl is very dog reactive and they work with me to make sure she and other dogs are safe. They let her be nosey around the office, checking every nook and cranny. I love the ability to book an appointment online, it makes it super easy and convenient to book as soon as you think about it. Excellent care and wonder facility.
